Sponsorship and Communication Workshop

The Sponsorship and Communication departments of the SOS Children's Villages Sierra Leone held a three-day workshop at the SOS Hermann Gmeiner International School Hall, Freetown on the 11^th -13^th March. The workshop was held to update co-workers on the latest sponsorship and communication issues, and to share writing and photography tools to improve writing and photography skills of co-workers in order to enhance the quality of our work within SOS Sierra Leone.

The participants were excited to know about the updates but were more thrilled when they were out in the Children’s Village Freetown for the practical photography session. “I’m am very happy that we are having this workshop and hope what has been passed on to us will put into good practice” said Mrs. Labor the Village Director, SOS Children’s Village. 

The workshop was attended by Village Directors, Village secretaries, Youth Supervisors, Family Strengthening Programme coordinator and Mother Representatives from the Children’s Villages in Freetown, Bo and Makeni. 

This is the first Sponsorship and Communication Workshop in 2014.
