On
Saturday, 29th March, a group of 8 students and two teachers from
two schools (Vaasan Lyseon lukio and Vasa gymnasium) in Finland visited the SOS
Children’s Village, Freetown to know more about the organization and to know
how the organization is helping vulnerable children in Sierra Leone.
During their visit, they were welcomed by the National Communications Officer; Ms. Alimatu Koroma and the Assistant Village Director, Mr. Braima Sewa who answered many questions asked by the students. The students who knew nothing about SOS Children’s Villages, Sierra Leone were very impressed with the organization and hoped the organization continues its good work in providing quality care for the needy children. They also brought some gifts for the Children.
